Leaving stables at 10.30am, the riders go past
Lady Bridge, the lakes of an old quarry near by, which are now full of wildlife
Riders continue to Thornborough, a picturesque small village and on to
Tanfield, where the horses are untacked and put in a field next to the
Bull Inn. Here riders can eat anything from sandwiches to a burger and
chips to a full English dinner. On leaving, the ride goes along high
ground with views of over 30 Miles.
The ride passes the village of Well, with a small stream and then on
to
Snape Castle through Snape village with another stream and large green.
Riders continue past an Ostrich farm and returning to the stables at about 4.00pm
